Grand Canyon Village

The Grand Canyon Village, located on the south rim of the Canyon, makes the canyon feel a little less remote. Here visitors can grab a bite to eat, shop for souvenirs, take a break from the heat and even view art galleries.
The Bright Angel Trail that starts nearby lures people into a false sense of security to hike down into the canyon. While it seems easy going down, as you can tell from this angle, it takes a lot of effort to get back up and out of the canyon.
So we’re just going to stay up here to take photos on this hot summer day.
